Installed this today in my 2015 Mercedes CLA 250. I have to say I’m pleasantly surprised. The quality is good, it works well, and It does what I wanted it to do. The only thing that is lacking is the directions. I don’t understand why these manufacturers don’t take the time to have an American create a comprehensive installation and operation manual. I wouldn’t attempt this unless you’re very confident in your abilities.

April 2022 Verifizierter Kauf Pasar de la pequeña pantalla de serie de 5,8″ a esta de 12,3″ y táctil es una diferencia abismal a la experiencia de uso del coche. Además, ahora que no vamos a poder usar los móviles al conducir, poder tener el CarPlay inalámbrico es una ventaja enorme. Poder tener el navegador que quiera y en ese tamaño de pantalla es una pasada. Otra ventaja es que se puedan seguir usando los mandos del volante y la rueda, así hay más opciones para el control. La cámara marcha atrás se conecta automáticamente sin problemas como antes. En cuanto a la instalación, en mi vida había desmontado yo algo en el coche, pero con paciencia y siguiendo los pasos (aconsejo ver antes algún video en youtube, en el paquete vienen unas indicaciones sencillas) se puede hacer sin problemas. Yo creo que tardé unas 4 horas en total (desmontaje, montaje y configuración). Y cuando ves el resultado merece la pena el esfuerzo. Para la configuración, en la pantalla viene grabado un pdf de instrucciones que es necesario seguir, ya que es útil para configurar el sonido, pantalla, cámara marcha atras y demás. No os asustéis si no funciona algo al conectar, seguramente sea un problema de configuración que se solucione fácilmente. Y si aún así os surge algún problema que no sabéis solucionar, el servicio técnico os manda algún video extra de ayuda.

The screen looks great and has a good build quality. About it’s performance, I can say it moves really fast for a 4gb android. I had some issues with the sound so I’ve contacted the seller and they helped me solve the issue in no time. The only problem I’ve got while mounting was that there are too many cables, some of them unused for my car, so it was really hard to route them in a way to mount back the radio unit. Every feature works as it should, hope thinks will stay the same in the long term.

Im not sure what I expected but its well made but expensive. Maybe I have not set it up correctly but a couple of times it has stopped connecting to the phone whilst I’m on the move… I loose navigation!
when I restart the car it works again (so far)
I seem to have to restart the phone to make it connect before each journey …
Im keeping it as I cannot be bothered to take it back out of the car
