Android GPS Multimedia Screen Special for BMW X5 E70 (2011-2013) X6 E71 (2011-2014)

10.25inch display or 12.3inch screen is compatible for both LHD (left hand driving cars) and RHD (right hand driving) cars.

 

 

Please check the system clearly for your car and choose it in our shop menu.

The installation is similar to our other screen, that is plug and play, no need to cut the wires, no coding, or other operation.

Let’s get started!

 

 

 

 

                                                                                  1.Use crowbar to remove the AC vent                2.unscrew the screws on orinigal screen.

                                                                                         

                                                                                 3.Unscrews the screws on original AC control panel.         4.Take off original the AC control panel.

                                                                                         

                                                                                  5.Take off the original CD flatcable.                     6.Remove the 4 screws on CD.

                                                                                         

                                                                             7.Take off the power cable from original CD.          8. Connect power cables together,plug original power

                                                                                                                                                             cable into the female socket of android power cable.

                                                                                         

                                                               9. Connect LVDS cable to original CD, Note: LVDS cable should be connected first, at this step,not connect power cable.

                                                                                                                               

                                                                                        10.Connect original LVDS cable to unit LVDS port, wiring power cables of original CD

                                                                                        and android unit,Note: GPS antenna installed onto the rear windscreen.

                                                                 

                                                                                                            11.Connect the cables of original CD and android unit,

                                                                                                     connect the GND of android unit to original CD screws as photo showing.

                                                                      12.Power the car and see if android                                                13. Put back the original CD,CD panel, AC air

                                                                      unit has sound in android side.*                                                        panel and android headunit.installation finished.

                                                                        

 

NOTE:

12. If it has sound, please neglect the following step; if it has no sound,please connect the“AUDIO OUT”wire on main cable to AUX hole in car.

Check again if it has sound or not, power off car if sound is available.

                                                                                  7.Remove the 4 screws on CD.                          8.Take off the power cable from original CD.

                                                                                         

                                                                    9. Connect power cables together,plug original power             10.Connect original LVDS cable to unit LVDS port,

                                                                    cable into the female socket of android power cable.                plug power cables of original CD and android unit

                                                                                         

                                                                                 11.Power on, check if android unit has sound or not. *                12.Installation is finished.

                                                                             

 

 

 

 

 

 

NOTE:

11. If it has sound, no need to check next step, if no sound, please connect “Audio out”cable into AUX input,check sound again and power off unit if has sound.
